Top beaches on Koh Phangan

Best beach for swimming
Due to the reef surrounding the island, the water is very shallow on the entire west coast and partly only suitable for swimming between December and April. On the east coast, the water is generally deeper, but the sea is sometimes a little rough here.
In Haad Maehad, Haad Yao, Haad Son and Chaloklam Swimming is possible. (The water is also rather low on the beach, but you do not have to go far to swim).
Most beautiful beach on Koh Phangan
As already mentioned, every beach has its own unique feeling, which is why it is difficult to name the best beach on Koh Phangan. The sand in Haad Rin, Haad Yao West and East, Thong Nai Pan as well “Malibu Beach” in Chaloklam is particularly soft and fine-grained. In Maehad, sunsets are often particularly impressive and a sunrise in Haad Sadet is also unforgettable!
