How to get to Koh Phangan

There are various options for getting to Koh Phangan by ship. Five ferry companies currently offer regular connections between Ko Phangan and the mainland (Don Sak and Chumphon), as well as from the neighboring islands (Ko Samui and Ko Tao). Mainly the island capital is approached Thongsala, which lies in the west of the island, and by the Fullmoon party known place Haadrin in the south of Phangan. Speedboat to Ko Pha-Ngan

You can also per private speed boat from Koh Samui arrive, if you don't want to be dependent on the ferry timetables. This can be especially useful if you arrive late at Samui Airport. You have the choice to go to Thongsala, Haad Rin or one of the beaches on the east coast. Driving to beaches on the west coast is only possible to a limited extent due to the depth of the water. From Koh Samui to Koh Phangan

If you want to travel from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan, you can do so with the ferries from Lomprayah, Sangserm, Seatran or the Haad Rin Queen. The latter is closest to the international one Koh Samui Airport (USM), On Koh Samui, there are several piers, each with different ferries (only the Lomprayah catamaran goes to two jetties). LOMPRAYAH

The most comfortable, fastest but most expensive connection to Koh Phangan is the Lomprayah Catamaran. The air-conditioned ferries depart from the neighboring islands of Koh Samui and Koh Tao and from the mainland from Chumphon and Don Sak. Lomprayah also offers something called "Joint Tickets" on. These tickets combine different modes of transport. For example, you can book the bus from Bangkok to Chumporn and then the catamaran to Koh Phangan. By the way, there is also the possibility Solar Air Fly from Bangkok Don Muang to Chumporn Airport and then continue by boat. In addition to the regular ferry service, Lomprayah also offers an hourly shuttle service from Koh Samui (Maenam) to Koh Phangan (Haadrin) during the Fullmoon Party. You will be picked up from your hotel, driven to the pier and taken by speedboat to Haadrin. The ticket costs 1000 THB (round trip). Please note that the speedboat ride is not recommended for everyone on a swell, and be prepared not to reach the other shore dry. The boat from Songserm is smaller and not as comfortable as the one from Lomprayah, but the ticket is cheaper and the ride is sure to be a bigger experience. RAJA Ferry

The boat of Raja is a car ferry that connects the mainland (Donsak) with Phangan's island capital Thongsala. In contrast to the comfortable boats of Lomprayah, only the "VIP Deck" of the Raja Ferry is equipped with air conditioning and the armchairs are not quite as comfortable.
