The long white sandy beach Seekantang is located in a secluded area, in the very south of Phangan, on the western tip of the peninsula of Haadrin, It is a beautiful, narrow beach with mangroves, which is a bit rocky in some places. Here also begins the coral reef that lays around the south coast. From April to November, due to the low tide, swimming on the beach side of the coral reef may not always be possible. Also, the sea at Leela Beach, as the beach is often called, can be very rough when it's windy.

Haad Seekantang has a special flair due to its secluded location and relatively few bungalow complexes. The entrance is a bit hidden and there is hardly anything to feel the party mood of Haadrin - and who it is too lonely, reached after a short walk the lively Hatrin. At Leela Beach / Haad Leela are also only a few hotels. At the northern end of the beach is the very popular Cocohut Beach Resort  or Leela Beach Resort.
