Shaped by life in harmony with nature, people of bygone days gave each full moon a name. In this case, "Pink Moon" comes from the Native Americans, because the April full moon bloom in much of North America and Canada, the flame flowers, also called Moss Pink or Pink Phlox. Other names for the April full moon are Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon and Fish Moon ... so I agree with Pink Moon, that sounds very nice.

The term Songkran means a movement, or a change, of the position of the sun from the ram into the bull.
