Haad Khuad (translated Khuad means bottle), or Bottle Beach, is located in the northeast of Koh Phangan. It is a dreamlike, fine, white sand beach with a deep, clear, turquoise blue sea, surrounded by jungle. This little paradise can be reached by taxi boat or 4 × 4 pickup taxi, as there is no paved road connection. Experienced, safe bikers will be able to cope with the sand slope, we advise against it for everyone else. There is a tiny mini market on Bottle Beach, nothing else. The resorts offer collective trips to Thong Sala several times a day and you can take a boat to Chaloklum or Thong Nai Pan. Electricity is supplied by generators in Haad Khuad, so the electricity is switched off for a few hours every day.
Activities in Haad Khuad
The rocks along and further out on the reef are really worth it snorkeling, The equipment can be rented at the resorts. Likewise stand kayaks and SUP available for rent.
